This watercolor, “Hummingbird Delight” is one of two paintings that were commissioned by a dear friend in honor of his wife and their 30th wedding anniversary.
In May 2013, the French Art Colony in Gallipolis, Ohio will present an exhibition of Kate’s “Mythological Creatures” series and other works oriented towards children’s books and media.
- Kate’s pen-and-ink work, “Yin-Yang Fish” was included in “The Cream of the Crop bi-annual juried exhibition at the Southern Ohio Museum.
- A solo exhibition of Kate’s work was presented at The French Art Colony in Gallipolis, Ohio.
- A major collection of Kate’s work was featured at the Boneyfiddle Arts Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

The giclee process is a state-of-the-art archival printing process: the original artworks are digitally scanned on a huge flat-bed scanner, and the colors adjusted. Once the printed proofs are reviewed and approved by the artist, the images are printed with pigment inks on 100% cotton rag watercolor paper. In September, 2011, Central Pennsylvania College presented a solo show of works by Kate Kerr. Kate’s large-scale, vibrant water color paintings and batiks will be on display at Central Penn’s Advanced Technology and Education Center, in Summerdale, Pennsylvania.
In May of 2010, I made my debut at Surtex, the premier trade show for marketing original art and design. The show is held at the Jacob K. Javits Center in NYC. I presented several design collections:
